Keep It Filed is a private home for your important documents. Scan or import your IDs, insurance, medical records, and more into folders, lock it all behind Face ID, and keep it organized — entirely on your device, with nothing in the cloud.
• Create folders for the kinds of documents you keep (Identity, Medical, Finance, Home, Insurance, and more).
• Add a document with the + button: scan it with the camera, import a PDF or image from Files, or pull one from your Photo Library.
• Open a document by tapping it; long-press a document for more options.
• Face ID lock so only you can open your documents
• Document scanner plus import from Files and Photos
• Share Extension — send a file into Keep It Filed straight from another app
• Renewal reminders — get notified before a passport, license, or policy expires
• Folder checklists — each folder can track what it should contain and show what's still missing
• Emergency access — flag the documents (and passwords) a family member might need fast, gathered in one place
• Passwords & secure notes — kept encrypted on your device, masked until you tap to reveal
Yes. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no ads. Every feature is unlocked from the moment you install.
Only on your device, in an encrypted store protected by your passcode and Face ID. Nothing is uploaded to any server. The app makes no internet connection at all.
Because everything stays on your device, your documents are included in your encrypted iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a local Finder/iTunes backup). Restoring a new phone from that backup brings them back. Keep It Filed itself does not keep a separate copy in the cloud.
When you add a renewal/expiration date to a document and allow notifications, Keep It Filed reminds you 30 days and 1 day before it expires — even when the app is closed.
You can flag any document or password as "Emergency." The red Emergency Access screen gathers all of them in one place, so the essentials are quick to find when they matter.
No. Zero tracking, analytics, or data collection. See our Privacy Policy for details.
