TL;DR: Keep It Filed keeps your documents on your device and nowhere else. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking, no ads, no analytics, and the app makes no network connections at all. We collect nothing.
None. Keep It Filed does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from you or your device. There are no servers, no accounts, and no user tracking. The app does not connect to the internet.
Everything you add to Keep It Filed is stored only on your device, in an encrypted on-device store protected by your device passcode and Face ID:
• Documents you scan, import, or photograph (PDFs and images)
• Folders, document names, notes, and renewal/expiration dates
• Any passwords or secure notes you choose to save
• Which items you mark for Emergency access
This data never leaves your device. We never see it. Deleting the app permanently removes it.
Keep It Filed asks for a permission only at the moment you use the feature that needs it, and uses it only on your device:
• Camera — to scan a document you want to file
• Photo Library — to import an image you already have
• Face ID — to unlock the app and your documents
• Notifications — to remind you before a document needs renewing
Keep It Filed never requests location, microphone, or contacts.
Keep It Filed integrates with no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No Google Analytics, no Facebook SDK, no ad networks, no crash reporting. There are no third-party SDKs that send your data anywhere, because the app sends nothing anywhere.
Passwords, secure notes, and any sensitive documents you save are stored encrypted on your device, the same as everything else. You decide what is saved and what is marked for Emergency access. None of it is ever uploaded or shared by the app.
Because Keep It Filed collects no data and makes no network connections, there is nothing to protect against. The app contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no way to communicate with other users.
Keep It Filed has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
